Tim Brown, General Manager, MSC is pleased to confirm that Marlborough Stirling Canada's hosted mortgage services have for the second year been the subject of a SAS 70 (now SSAE16) audit and for a fifth year, a CICA CSAE 3416 (formerly CICA S5970) audit for the controls over its information technology (IT) infrastructure supporting the application service provision (ASP) operations.
As in the previous five years, we engaged PwC to examine and express an opinion on the design of our internal controls relating to the IT infrastructure control environment in respect of the Application Service Provision (ASP) offering. A copy of the most recent description of these controls and PwC's unqualified opinion is available to our customers and their auditors. Marlborough Stirling Canada's mortgage ASP IT infrastructure, including MorWEB, Omiga and Optimus, was reviewed focusing on the following control domains: administration and organization, software development, change management, security and operational controls.
